A mixed group of young, mostly disheveled people have been protesting on Wall Street for the last three weeks, but seem not to have a clue when asked the reason for their being there, obstructing traffic and interfering with New Yorkers who work for a living. It is almost like Haight-Ashbury revisited where head cases from San Francisco too under the influence of pot and other drugs were not able to put two sentences together, yet alone two words. Perhaps the only job]s they have held are being made by the unions that are now offering support.
Many of these young people probably come from affluent homes, so who and what are they protesting? How much influence does that “defunct” obama Acorn have with regard to the protest. Interviewed by reporters they are capable only of condemning Wall Street Bankers or stating that they had no idea why they were there in protest.
The liberal teachers from the lowest grades to the university professors have attempted to re write history to satisfy the needs of the socialist/progressive movement which these destructive “educators” are a part of. The parents of our school children have just allowed this to happen by not being proactive and certainly poorly reactive when it comes to understanding exactly what they are being taught by the socialists and communists with tenure in our school systems at all levels.
When I went to school, a liberal arts education meant that the student would be exposed to all levels of truths and history as it occurred in a varied manner, so that the student might choose appropriately. Our current education system requires the student to vomit back and ultimately believe all of the lies taught less they do not “earn” the grade they should earn. These are some of the “children” who sit in protest, defy New York’s police, and interfere with people just attempting to earn a living.
These indolents are obama whiners, just the crowd he told to stop whining in a another one of his rambling speeches. Parents had better start asking what their children are really being taught and take their dislike and mistrust directly to the Boards of Education in their communities. In addition to taking the government back from the communists who control it, we must take our ability to educate our children back from the government.
