The recent failed gun running scheme called “fast and furious” was allegedly funded by stimulus money. Both obama and holder have denied any knowledge of the sting operation that was purportedly operated to trace weapons sold in the U.S. to their end point in Mexico. The problem is that the ATF lost track of the weapons, some of which were ultimately used to kill a member of our border patrol. It is inconceivable that both the president and the attorney did not sign off on the plan prior to its initiation. The administration’s response when a ATF member came forward with regard to the plot was to fire him.
The question is whether or not the president and or the attorney general are not telling the truth. Should this be considered an impeachable offense? It seems that there have been so many. The entire matter is now being probed by a congressional committee chaired by Representative Issa, who it is hoped and expected will expose all of those involved in this botched affair. Adding to the idiotic plot that went bad is that it was allegedly funded by stimulus money. All of these issues must be defined and those involved dealt with appropriately.
