I have always found Jon Stewarts liberal slant on politics albeit in the form of comedy not to my liking, but he certainly outshines creatures like bill maher regarding common decency. Despite his protestation, too many young adults here and abroad believe that Stewart’s Daily Show is an actual news broadcast, faithfully presenting the news of the day. Apparently believing Stewart to present the facts as they see it takes away from all of their frustrations perhaps of having a job, looking for a job, earning money, not living of the government or learning something worthwhile in school.
The night-time comics have had a windfall with weiner’s rapid demise, but Stewart’s recent take on weiners’s apology to Bill Clinton was both clever and biting. Stewart in a high-pitched tone wanted to know if the apology was forthcoming because of concern over copywrite infringement, alluding to the former presidents escapades
The late and great comedian, George Carlon often would start his show offering the 7 words that could not be said on National TV. Since that time, a lot has changed regarding what is now allowable. SHOULD WEINER HAVE BEEN THE 8TH NO NO?
