He took credit for a stimulus that has wasted billions of dollars on illegal support of green/failed companies such as Solyndra just to mention a few. He rejected the Keystone pipeline to please his environmental base. This enterprise funded privately, would have not cost the tax payers a penny, and would have provided needed jobs for thousands of unemployed Americans. Instead he, in his continued disconnect with reality is promoting a high-speed rail from Los Angeles to San Francisco that few will use at the cost of 100 Billion to tax payers He underscored what he believes to be a success for the auto industry but failed to mention that his union buddies reaped the benefits, and the industry has yet to totally replay the “loan”.
