Many parents of children attending elementary school in Alameda, in suburban Oakland, California, and adjacent to San Franciso, where the worst of America seems to originate, are angry with the schools’ position on the need to include the contribution of gays, lesbians, transgenders etcetera in the curriculum aimed at the elementary age group. For some bizarre reason, possibly politically correct(?), the powers that be in that demented portion of our land seem to think that the children will benefit from such an education, making them more accepting of the gay and lesbian life style.

I am finding difficulty defining those people who have made major impacts upon ours and the world’s history who might fit into any of those categories, unless enormous closets kept these people hidden throughout the ages. Its it possible that Julius Caesar came into this world as the real Calpurnia.? Or was Joan de Arc really Jacques? I would find it difficult to believe that our founding fathers were really our founding transgenders, but of course such surgical interventions were not available in 1776, or were they? What is it that motivates people such as those who feel such information will better the lives and education of our children? Sex education, proper diet, where to eat should be the responsibility of parents and not the government by virtue of its Secretary of Education when this country did far better prior to James Earl Carter’s divination that this cabinet position was essential. He didn’t do any thing else well either. While our freedoms allow for minorities to have their say, it does not allow for them to impose their will on the people of America who find their pretense objectionable.

There is absolutely no substance to the suggestion that the life styles of people have made positive contribution to the history of the world or the United States. As a rule, life styles, away from the norm and aberrant historically have led to the decline of the Roman Empire, the abolition of most of the European monarchies and the removal of the revolutionaries that followed. It is my hope that the will of intelligent California parents will over ride these proposals that will do little to advance the education of their children.

Despite Obama’s suggestion that Republicans and democrats are not that far apart regarding the budget, which in itself is a lie, democrats have refused to budge on cutting any amount of money that they believe will impact negatively on the next election at all levels. Why didn’t Obama’s government vote a budget last year? They were afraid of impacting negatively on the midterm elections. THEY LOST ANY WAY AND AMERICA IS LOSING NOW BECAUSE OF THEIR PARTISAN INACTION!

Democrats call Sarah Palin and Limbaugh and Beck fear mongers, something greedily picked up by their partisan media. The media ignores such suggests by the now irrelevant (EVIL) N. Pelosi that millions of seniors will die, or similar suggestions by the USAIDS director that thousands of children will perish, considering it news worthy. All of this to occur with government shut down. The news ignores any and all of H. (EVIL) Reid’s diatribes as obstructive, but absolutely condemns the Speaker of the House, only because he is a Republican.

Obama comes out with another statement, excuse me LIE, that seniors will not receive their social security checks. OOOPS….was this another misspeak? The truth is that he is fear mongering because none of that is true.

Let’s look at what might be affected by a government shutdown. Apparently nothing essential will be affected. Within Congress, a panic has ensued with government officials trying to determine those on their staff who might be considered non-essential and pink slipped. IF THEY ARE NON-ESSENTIAL WHY ARE WE TAX PAYERS PAYING FOR THEM? FIRE THEM NOW. WHAT GREATER OPPORTUNITY MIGHT WE HAVE TO DO SO? I AM CERTAIN A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF HOUSECLEANING MIGHT BE ACCOMPLISHED.

Most of all government workers when allowed to return if shut down occurs will receive all of their pay. This includes the undeserving members of Congress who have created this problem, along with our do-know-nothing president. The National Parks will be affected. Included will be the monuments in Washington D.C. There has already been the liberal tear jerking stories regarding teachers who promised their students tours of Washington and some decry not being able to see the cherry blossom parade. News Flash! The streets and avenues will not be closed. The trees will blossom, and any teacher worth his or her salary can teach what Lincoln meant to the people while standing at the foot of his statue for starters.

I just can’t wait to hear the liberal complaints that the bison in Yellowstone will develop significant stress because there will be a lack of people to take their pictures, or the Grizzly bears are upset because they miss the cars and buses lined up for a photo-op, or the wolves will not procreate because of the absence of humans to hear them howl. Is it possible that Old Faithful will not blow on the hour because no one will be their to see it?

Under the current circumstances must the government call another holiday, of which we have many when no business is conducted. IT CAN. IT SHOULD, AND THE MAJORITY OF AMERICA WILL NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE…..except if they believe all of the lies the democrats will tell and tell and tell and tell……….and continue to tell until they believe all of them…..

When and if we win, we will not ever know what we have won. The best any one could do for the Afghanis is to bring them out of the Stone Age into the Iron Age. These people will never be much better than they are right now. Happy with their tribal lives, lack of education and fierce reaction to any thing that illogically might disturb them, these people will never embrace democracy as we know it. The Russians with all of their might and location nearby were not able to achieve in the same period of time what we are trying to do…..at great cost.

The Pakistanis, perhaps a bit ahead of the Afghanis in the food chain, are a ruthless group of people who cannot be trusted for any long term period. Pakistan does have nuclear capability which they might sell in an instant to the highest bidder. We have forgotten the reason why we went into Afghanistan, and that was to “get Ben Laden” in response to 9/11/2001. It is amazing that with all of our technology, that the man still roams free. It has much to do with the mentality of the people from both countries who provide escort and protection. WE WILL NOT CHANGE THIS MENTALITY. It took thousands of years for them to achieve this utter stupidity.

Any group of people whose response to what represented an act of freedom of speech on the part of a Florida pastor, despite its insensitivity, should not be that of bombing and beheading of innocents who had nothing to do with the provoking act. The American Constitution entitles each of us to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Obama care appears to take issue with the first entitlement.(DEATH PANELS, RATIONING OF CARE) The government in its constant meddling is interfering with the second, while telling us that we are too stupid to direct our own course in life without its annoying advice and its unrequested help, in attempting to remove our ability to make choices. The immediate and ultimate purpose of the Nanny State is to make people so dependent on the government, very similar to what kidnap victims experience in the Stockholm syndrome, that they lose all sense of purpose. You might recall the book 1984. Individuals are not entitled to the same car or house of a neighbor, nor do they have the right to take them. It is called STEALING. Opportunities are available. entrepreneurship is available, at least until Obama tries to take those as well by heavily taxing small businesses.

Despite what Obama and his ilk may believe, health care is not an entitlement. His only purpose in forcing Obamacare down the throats of Americans is to develop what he calls the First Option which is no option whatsoever. It is just another piece of our liberty removed and must be repealed. A college education is not an entitlement. It is a privilege earned by students who do well in the lower grades,and can afford tuition or are fortunate enough to be given scholarship, some form of student aid or campus employment to defray expenses. Just because someone wants to go to Harvard, that may not happen. No one is entitled to go to Harvard or Yale, but he or she may earn admission for the reasons noted above. No one should be allowed to bump or displace someone who has earned attendance in the school of their choice by any one just because they are a member of a minority. Going to college is not a right. Going to college is not an entitlement. It is something that must be earned.

There are members of minorities who have been unable to excel, because of lack of stimulation on the part of a parent or parents even if both were members of the household. Certainly there have been so many members of what might be considered a minority who did quite well despite all odds because they wanted to do so. I might just mention Colin Powell for one. Standards should not and must not be lowered to make whatever liberal-minded adjustments for the sake of “fairness”. What is fair is the third entitlement; the ability to seek, no matter what, the pursuit of happiness, without it being handed to you as Obama would do.

The country spends an enormous amount of money on education of our children, yet we have to wonder if the money has been well spent considering the ranking the children are in the world with regard to math and the physical sciences. Civics is no longer taught in the public school system. Students have no idea of the current events that impact more on their life than JERSEY SHORE and the rest of the inane fare available on cable. In stead of paying attention to the teacher, students. are too busy texting using abbreviations that are daily coming into the lexicon. Soon, they will no longer be able to write anything sensible. The Unions keep poor teachers in the classrooms and the public pays the freight most of which goes into the pockets of the union bosses.

A number of years ago, the so-called solution was an inferior method of readjustment called Affirmative Action. This was a feel good title that in some minds suggested that it was a good thing to allow students, who never made the grade by learning, to move on to the higher grades and ultimately when making application to college, displace students who in truth earned their way by learning. Affirmative Action should go the way of Obamacare. The current solution is to lower the standards so that minorities, who may be absolutely unqualified may attain positions in the fire and police departments,by achieving a substandard grade in testing. The reason is the falsified deprivation of minorities. Seattle, Washington took it a step further by passing a law, making it illegal for an employer to ask a potential employee about his or her level of education. The reason given, was minorities may not be able to achieve a higher level of education to compete for the job. Clearly, then they do not deserve to compete, unless they raise their own standards. We should not be forced to lower ours.

This alleged church which has no reported connection to any other Baptist Church in America has made an undistinguished name for itself with its vile performances, and hate bearing signs that have vilified everyone from Obama to Gay and Lesbians. The group located in Kansas was founded by the grandfather of the woman who presented a case to the Court that eight of the 9 justices found acceptable.

Our First Amendment which provides for freedom of speech. was found by the court to trump reasonable opposition by grieving families to bury their war dead without being ringed by a circus of protesters creating chaos. The alleged church may have won a victory, but they have also won the anger and disgust of the American people who have found them to be a despicable, hate group, that hates in the name of God. They must worship a different God than the rest of us normal human beings.

LINCOLN CHAFEE:FORMER REPUBLICAN WHO SWITCHED TO INDEPENDENT AND NOW DICTATOR

Lincoln Chafee, a former Republican who claims he is an Independent and was supported by Obama in his recent run for office, has decreed that no members of his staff and possibly other paid workers at the Rhode Island Capitol will not be allowed to be interviewed by TALK RADIO. I am not certain if he included Fox News. His reason was that talk radio was more entertainment than news. We must assume that he means conservative talk radio since there is not a lot of the other kind around. Apparently while Rhode Island is very small, mr. chafee is yet smaller. Could the reason for his dictum be that he is afraid of what they might say OR WHAT THEY MIGHT LEARN. Wonder if he would turn down an invitation by Letterman. Hope he is tested.
